The Ford Racing Mustang
Challenge for the Miller Cup presented by BFGoodrich
Tires is a new professional racing series co-developed
by Ford Racing and Miller Motorsports Park. Utilizing
the new Ford Mustang FR500S and sanctioned by the Grand
American Road Racing Association, the series is a
support series to major professional road racing events
across North America. Presented by BFGoodrich tires, the
Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup is an
affordable, challenging platform for racers who want to
compete in a V8-powered, rear-wheel-drive car on a level
playing field that showcases driver ability in
high-profile events.
Light Speed Components, Inc. is proud to have been
chosen to supply the main body and other various wiring
harnesses to Ford Racing for the build and launch of the
Ford Racing Mustang Challenge vehicle. Light Speed
engineered, designed and provided engineering support
for Ford Racing on this historical program. Light Speed
continues to provide engineering support, prototype
designs and product to Ford Racing. Light Speed is
